Los Angeles Ghost Patrol

WordPress site (2010)
Features the paranormal investigations of the Los Angeles Ghost Patrol.  Includes a user-generated content section where readers can share their personal ghost stories. Includes Google Analytics and Google Ads. Also links to a CafePress store, which I also set-up and populated with merchandise featuring the LAGP logos.

Business Cards
The LAGP wanted business cards with their new look. I arranged for a photo shoot of the team by Andy Windak for publicity shots for the site & marketing materials. The backside contains their social media information allowing people they meet to easily check out their work & become fans.

#NASATweetup / #NASASocial Patches

As a participant in the NASA Tweetup for the GRAIL moon mission, I was a part of a group effort to design a patch. Working off an earlier design by Nathan Moeller posted in the Tweetup group, I modified the design to more closely feature the Delta II rocket and the twin spacecraft side-by-side, also adding in the smoke plume across the bottom. I redrew each element from actual photos in Photoshop with only 8 colors. The actual embroidered patch is featured in this post.

I have since designed several more patches for NASA events. Theses are not only rendered in thread, but have been turned into enameled pins and used as the basis for custom t-shirts for the tweetup & social participants. I’m very honored to have these designs worn & collected by ‘spacetweeps.’

DVD Cases

For several of my short films I created the DVD case art…

ShadowMachine

HTML & javascript site (2011)
Based on a concept by a ShadowMachine executive. Features javascript rollovers & aligned pages so the user feels like they’re always on a single page. No flash content as I try to design sites to be accessible to the greatest number of users.  At the time this site was designed, the company did not want any links to their projects, although this would be very easy to accomplish.

The Resurrectionist

HTML (2005)
This is a site I designed & coded to promote my thesis film as it toured the film festival circuit. Very traditional site with access to the film’s trailer, press materials and behind the scenes info. I also designed the film’s poster image which is featured on the site’s splash page, as well as DVD case and film festival marketing materials.

Invitations

While working at ShadowMachine, I planned many of the premiere parties for the animated shows as well as company events. This included designing lively invitations featuring stop-mo characters. Here are a few examples I had on hand:
