Next Saturday, July 17th, is the first annual Viscera Film Festival to be held at the Downtown Independent theatre in downtown Los Angeles. It’s six hours of awesome horror by women filmmakers and an after party on the roof. I will be there with my short film The Resurrectionist.
My short The Resurrectionist has been accepted to screen at the inaugural Oklahoma Horror Film festival in Tulsa over Labor Day weekend. Florida State Film School (my grad school alma mater) decided to submit it even though it is five years old and had a great festival run already. Cool! Here’s the link to their site: www.oklahomahorrorfilmfest.com. They’ve contacted me about doing an interview, so look for that in a couple of weeks. And if you’re in Tulsa, go check the fest out — it sounds fun!
